I have been learning more about grief as I lost a close relative recently. Often in psychology depression is defined as grief which has become stuck. The nature of our emotions is to move and morph. Anger felt and directed skillfully can give way to connection, grief can lead to opening in the heart and new energy to be put forth into life. I notice the feelings associated with grief come in waves, some days I feel sadness, other days neutral and light, and then waves of anger and remorse. I aspire to feel these as they come, allow for them even though its not a pleasant experience, I am learning to trust in this process which is grief.

Take care,
Arsalan
